I took the recipe from the "Royal Cookbook" of Princess Margaret, only that, being the cherry season, I also added cherries in the composition. It is a very easy to make, fluffy cake, which, very strangely I would say, disappears immediately from the plate. :)

  • 1 glass of yogurt (125 ml)
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 glass of yogurt full of oil
  • 2 glasses of yogurt filled with brown sugar
  • 3 glasses of yogurt with white flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • pitted cherries

Servings: 8

Preparation time: less than 60 minutes

RECIPE PREPARATION Yogurt and cherry cake:

I heated the oven to 180 degrees.

In the bowl of the mixer I put the yogurt, I added the sugar and the oil and I mixed, until the sugar melted.

I added eggs one at a time, then flour and continued to mix until the composition became homogeneous.

I wallpapered the detachable round shape with baking paper and poured the composition into it.

I added the cherries and put the tray in the oven for 40-45 minutes.

After 35 minutes it is good to check with a toothpick if the cake is baked.

After it cooled, I powdered it and tasted it.
